We’ve always believed that the best way to build a brilliant product is by listening to our clients and acting on your feedback. This month, we have added a number of key features and improvements to StoriiCare.
Summary of updates
- Staff & Service User Groups
- Extended staff permissions
- Day Care Register Exports
- Overview Update
- Contacts Improvements
- Medical Information/Visits Improvements
We are delighted to introduce StoriiCare Groups! You can now arrange both your staff and your service users into convenient groups.
Creating a group
Visit the ‘Groups’ page within Business Settings where you can create groups for both Service Users and staff. E.g. ‘First Floor’ ‘ East Wing’ ‘Bridge Club’. See below for instructions on how to create a group for Service Users.
Service Users can be in multiple groups. Staff can only be in one group.
Groups for Service Users
You can assign Service User’s to a group either when you create their profile, or from the new ‘Groups’ or ‘Staff roles’ pages within Business Settings. If you do not assign a Service User to a group they will be classed as ‘Unassigned’.
Groups for Staff
You can assign staff to a group to display their job title. e.g ‘Caregiver, Manager, Activities’ To change their title, access the new ‘Groups’ page within Business Settings. Toggle from Service Users to Staff and you will see default staff groups. To add a new Group, select the Add button.
➡ Extended Staff Permissions
Individual staff can now have custom permissions on StoriiCare. This means that if a member of staff needs full access to one feature and not others, you can create a custom permission level that provides those specific permissions.
Once the custom permission level has been created, you can assign it to the relevant members of staff via our new ‘Staff Roles’ page.
➡ Day Care Register Exports
In addition to printing a current register of all service user’s present, you can now export sign in/out records in both PDF and CSV formats. These records can also be automatically emailed to multiple stakeholders at defined intervals.
➡ Updated Overview
Each Service User’s Overview now displays even more relevant data. This includes:
- A new ‘admin summary’ with additional administrative information regarding service users. This will only be visible to staff with full access to the Overview feature.
- Active Medication & Medical Conditions. This pulls information from the Medical Information / Visits feature.
- Secondary N.O.K. which sits alongside Primary N.O.K
➡ Contacts Improvements
We have revamped the contacts feature to load faster, and added the ability to link Service Users to a contact. This now enables you to search using a Service User’s name and quickly see all the contacts linked to that individual. We will shortly be adding a contacts square to each individual’s profile, enabling direct access to filtered contacts for each Service User.
➡ Medical Information/Visits Improvements
Improvements have been made to the adding and editing processes for all features within this page. Some buttons will appear larger and should be easier to select.
➡ REMINDER – Request or vote on new features with ease
All StoriiCare clients now have access to our new feature request and bug reporting board. You will find a link to this titled ‘Feature Requests’ at the bottom of every StoriiCare page once you have logged in successfully. From here you can view and vote on pending features, create a new feature request or log a bug you may have encountered on StoriiCare. We believe this transparent move of making some of our development schedule public will encourage our clients to voice their ideas and help StoriiCare be the best it can be!
Thank you for all your feedback this year! We truly appreciate you helping us make StoriiCare the best it can be. If you have any feature ideas, feedback or interest in testing upcoming functionality, please visit our feature request board from your StoriiCare profile or get in touch!
We wish you and all our network across the world a Very Happy Holidays and we look forward to an exciting 2019!???
